WOJ TUTORIAL FEBRUARY

This is a copy of my tutorial which you can find on The Whiff of Joy ideas blog.
Today is my turn to give inspiration.

As the Whiff of Joy clearstamps dropped on my doormat, a new tutorial was born.

It shows just how multifunctional even the stamppackage can be.

What do you need ?

Standard materials for your card like crafting paper and backing papers.

In my case Spots and Dots II Whiff of Joy clear stamps.

Draw the outlines of the package with a pencil on the craft paper

Cut it out with scissers and erase the lines.

Add backing papers and finish the card.

In my case I used a sketch from Katharina to finish the card.

FEBRUARY BLOGHOP WHIFF OF JOY

Welcome to the February Whiff of Joy Blog Hop! If you didn’t come here from Andrea & Clarissa’s blog, then head on over to the start of the hop at Katharina’s blog. I don’t want you to miss a single stop on this hop!

Our February release is filled with images of our adorable Maya from our Simply Maya line of stamps. Capturing the essence of childhood, we are sure you will fall in love with them. Our charm sets have been super popular and so we have a lovely Girl-themed set to offer you this month. A very Parisian Henry also makes his appearance along with some new French vintage postage marks. There are also German Glamour Girl sentiments. We are releasing new dies shapes this month. A wonderful doily shape, vintage cameras, a notebook border and a swirly scalloped border die!

This month, we are giving away one stamp and one die from this release to one very lucky winner. The winner will be drawn from the comments on our DT blogs At the end of the hop, go to the Whiff of Joy World of Ideas Blog, let us know that you have left a comment at each stop of the hop by leaving us a comment and you will be entered for a chance to win! A complete list of the hop is also at this blog, just in case you get lost along the way!

The hop will remain open until midnight CEST midnight Wednesday February 13th. Winners will be announced by Katharina on her blog.

I used the fab new stamp Maja's best Friend, love this image, it's such a lovely scene how Maja is walking with her doggy and they are both enjoying it :).

I coloured the image with my copics.

I used the lovely paper Love note from Echo Park, such a lovely paper and so perfect for this lovely and cute stamp.

I also used some dies : Doohickey, Whiff of Joy and a Dienamic die.

The cat is watching you LOL.

PREVIEW WHIFF OF JOY FEBRUARY RELEASE

Today I want to share another preview with one of the fab new Whiff of Joy stamps that will be released February 11th.
Henry wasn't forgotten and one Henry stamp is released this month.
He looks so great in his French uniform :).
I coloured Henry with my copics.
I used Pink Paisley paper to get started.
The cute little koala bear is an Australian postmark that I received on an jummy envelop from my dear friend Fay. Fay, many, many thanks and a huge hug !!
I also used an EK succes punch and some dies from Poppy Stamps, Doohickey, Cheery Lynn, Whiff Of Joy and Memory Box.

Vandaag wil ik nog een kaartje met jullie delen met 1 van de nieuwe stempels van Whiff of Joy stamps die vanaf 11 februari te bestellen zijn.
Henry was ook dit keer niet vergeten.
Is het geen schatje in zijn Franse uniformpje :).
Ik heb Henry ingekleurd met copics.
Ik heb Pink Paisley papier gebruikt als basis.
Het kleine koalabeertje is een echte Australische postzegel dat op een superlief pakketje zat van mijn dierbare vriendin Fay. Fay, super super bedankt en een dikke knuf !!

PREVIEW WHIFF OF JOY FEBRUARY

It's the exciting time of the month again...Whiff of Joy is releasing new stamps and dies.
I am in love with this serie, as I must admit I am with every release.
After having a month of all for the boys, February is all for the girls.
Lucky me, some of the fab new stamps also contain animals and even a cat, so excited :).
Of course Henry wasn;t forgotten and a sweet stamp of him will be released also this month.
Be sure to watch my fellow teammies blogs today and the upcoming days, this is day 1 of the previews.

For my first preview I choose a fab new Stamp from the Maja range called Maja and Kitty and a bunch full of flowers.
I coloured the image with copics and made a scene surrounding the image.
The colour combo I used for the tulips and for the bow on Maja's hat was a challenge.
I used several non matiching copics to get this effect and I am proud of the result.
I used papers from Prima Marketing.
I used dies from Poppy Stamps, Memory Box and Whiff of Joy.
The wooden camera is from Whiff of Joy, they are soooo cute.
I used a charm that was in my stash, not sure were I bought it.

Het is weer de opwindenste tijd van de maand, want Whiff of Joy komt met een nieuwe serie stempels en stansjes.
Ik ben verlliefd op deze stempels, ik vind ze allemaal weer superschattig, maar moet ook eerlijk bekennen dat ik elke nieuwe serie superschattig vind hihi.
Nadat januari de maand voor de jongens was, is februari de maand van de meisjes :).
Wat ik echt superleuk vind, is dat de nieuwe serie ook diertjes bevat naast Maja en jaja, zelfs een katje.
Dat vind ik dus helemaal supertoppie.
Henry is ook niet vergeten en van hem verschijnt deze maand ook een superleuke stempel.
Hou de blogs van mijn teammies in de gaten, want vanaf vandaag zullen er elke dag previews te zien zijn.

Voor mijn eerste preview heb ik gekozen voor een stempeltje van de Maja serie genoemd: Maja and Kitty and a bunch full of flowers.
Ik heb het afdrukje ingekleurd met copics en heb een achtergrond getekend rondom het afdrukje.
De kleurencombi die ik voor de tulpen en de strik van Maja's hoed genomen heb was een uitdaging.
Ik heb diverse niet passende kleurtjes van de copics gebruikt om dit resultaat te krijgen en ben best trots op het eindresultaat.
Ik heb Prima Marketing papier gebruikt.
Stansjes die ik gebruik heb zijn van Poppy Stamps, Memory Box en van Whiff of Joy.
De houten camera is ook van Whiff of Joy, ze zijn echt superschattig.
Ik heb een bedeltje gebruikt van mijn voorraad, maar moet jullie helaas schuldig blijven waar ik het vandaan gehaald heb, ik weet het niet meer helaas.

CARDS UND MORE CHALLENGE

Today another challenge starts at the Cards und More challengelblog.
Theme is so easy this time of year: Valentine / Love.

I have had this WOJ stamp for a long time, but never had a chance to use it, so I decided to use it for this challenge.
The text With Love is from Papermania, I also added lots of sparkle and glaze on the heart.
I used several dies on my card: Doohickeys, Marianne Desugn and WOJ.
I also used an MS punch.
The paperpad is from MME.
Ribbon is from WOJ.
I used an older sketch from The Sketchy Challenges.

Vandaag start een nieuwe challenge op het Cards und More challengelblog.
Het thema is heel gemakkelijk deze tijd van het jaar: Valentijn/Liefde.
Neem gerust een kijkje op het Cards und More challengelblog. naar wat mijn mede teammies gemaakt hebben, of breng een bezoekje aan hun persoonlijke blogs.

Ik had deze WOJ stempel al heel erg lang, maar kon er tot op heden geen goed moment voor vinden hem te gebruiken. Toen ik het thema hoorde van de challenge wist ik gelijk, die stempel gebruik ik voor mijn kaartje.
De text With Love is van Papermania, tevens heb ik het heart gevuld met glitters en met glaze.
Ik heb op het kaartje diverse stansjes gebruikt: Doohickeys, Marianne Design en WOJ.
Ik heb ook een MS pons gebruikt.
Paperpad is van MME.
Het lint is van WOJ.
Ik heb een oudere schets gebruikt van The Sketchy Challenges.
