It is time for another challenge at the

My Besties International blog.

I used a lovely animal digi from the My Besties range

for my card.

My Besties Facebook DT - new release

Hi everyone,

Today is release day at My Besties and boy,

there are some fab new Besties in town.

Mermaids are so lovely and in this release several mermaids

are being released.

This is the first cute one I coloured:

Copic Marker Benelux DT

Hallo allemaal.

Vandaag mag ik, Marion , jullie

een kaartje laten zien.

Ik vind het altijd moeilijk mannenkaarten te maken,

net als jongenskaarten.

Toen ik deze digi tegenkwam, wist ik echter gelijk wat ik 

wilde doen.

Ik wilde graag twee kleurencombis voor het drakenpakje

die bij elkaar pasten,

maar ook genoeg contrast gaven.

Daarom heb ik gekozen voor de groen en paars tinten.

Copic kleurtjes:

Huid: E000 - E00 - E21 - E11 - E04 - R22 - E15 - E18 - R20

Haar: E18 - E08 - YR 18 - YR14

Ogen: YG06 - YG03 - YG11

Ik heb weinig frutsels gebruikt, want vind ik persoonlijk

niet zo geschikt voor een jongenskaart.

The size is a bit larger than normal, so I wanted to keep the focus on the image.

That is why I made a kind of CAS card with it.

Ik wilde de aandacht houden op het afrukje, dus heb ik een soort van CAS

kaart gemaakt, kijk zelf maar:

A release party is always so much fun and

today I am proud to show you some new digis from the

My Besties release Party.

Lets start with the first one.

Isn't she cute, I love this cute little handy girl :)

So, when I saw this image, I knew I wanted to have a bit of grafity background.

So I used my copic airbrush and created a stone coloured backing.

Then I used a stencil for making drops and circles on the wall.

The hotel stamp is one from a Joy! craft clear stamp sheet.

I added some bricks to make the backing look more real and

coloured them with copics.

My second card I would love to share with you is made with this lovely iamge:

She is also coloured with copics.

This girl just needed a romantic card and this is what I made with this image:

So happy you came to my blog today.

Recently there was a new My Besties release and we as team

got to play with the images.

I love animals so when I saw this one, I just could not resist

and coloured her with my copics

Wat fijn dat jullie vandaag mijn blog bezoeken.

Recentelijk was een nieuwe My Besties release en

wij mochten spelen met de leuke nieuwe afdrukjes.

Ik hou van dieren dus toen ik dit nijlpaard zag, kon ik

niet weerstaan en moest haar kleuren met mijn copics.

And her is the card I made with this cute hippo:

En hier is de kaart die ik gemaakt heb met dit superlief nijlpaardje:

I kept the card simple, since I so loved the image and the papers.

I used white embossing powder for my text.

Ik heb de kaart vrij simpel gehouden omdat ik het afdrukje en het

papier te mooi en lief vond om veel embelishements te gebruiken.

Voor de tekst heb ik witte embossingpoeder gebruikt.

But combined with yellow it is perfect for a cute Easter card.
