HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Ik loop wat achter bij de club van Tiets met kerstkaarten en ik ben nu dus flink wat kerstkaartjes aan het maken om een inhaalslag te maken.
Vandaag dus een kerstkaartje dat ik met jullie delen wil.
Het afdrukje is van Sugar Nellie en het idee van het stempelen van het rendier kwam van Tiets. Dank je wel Tiets voor dit supermooie idee.
De sketch is van een cardkit van Simpel Scrappen.
Door de grote van het rendier en de bloem bovenin is het voor mijn doen een rustig kaartje geworden, niet veel frutsels.

Ook wil ik me hartelijk bedanken voor de fijne reacties op mijn creaties. Het doet me heel erg goed. En voor de liefhebsters van de ster, ik heb er nog een paar hier liggen die ik maken wil, dus dat thema wordt gevolgd.

I'm behind with my Christmas Card Challenge at Tiets's club, so I'm making a lot of Christmas Cards to try to catch up. Therefor today a Christmas Card that I'm sharing with you.
I've used a Sugar Nellie stamp and the idea of the stamped reindeer was from Tiets. Thanks Tiets for this fabulous idea.
I've used a sketch from the Simpel Scrappen cardkit.
Due to the size of the reindeer and the flower I've used this card has become one with a little amount of embelishments.

I also want to say a warm, big thanks to every-one who left me a comment on my creation(s). They really brighten up my life.

Dank jullie wel voor jullie supergave reacties op mijn vorige projectjes, het doet me enorm veel plezier ze te lezen (en nog eens te lezen hihi).

Joepie !!! Ik ben (weer) nr 1 geworden in de Hanna & Friends challenge van de afgelopen week en wat ben ik daar trots op ! Het geeft me samen met jullie reacties de kroontjes op mijn creaties.

Dit keer weer een projectje, bij de winkel waar ze de hartjes verkochten, verkochten ze ook deze sterren en ik was gelijk weg bij het zien van deze sterren. Als afdrukje heb ik You warm my heart-Cute Seal gebruikt van WOJ, het is zo'n lief stempeltje. Ingekleurd heb ik deze keer met copics, het sneeuwvlokjes papier van Magnolia paste hier perfect bij vond ik.
Ik ontzettend benieuwd te lezen hoe jullie het vinden.

First a big thank you to all who left me a comment on one of my previous cards/projects. It been a pleasure reading them (over and over again LOL).

OMG ! I have won the Hanna & Friends challenge (again). I'm so thrilled and honoured about this, it really sets a crown on my work together with your beautifull comments on my blog.

Today I want to share another project with you that I made. Over at a local store where I've also bought my wooden hearts, they also have this cute little wooden stars. I couldn't resist and bought them. I've used a WOJ image called You warm my heart-Cute Seal and coloured it with copics. The snowflake paper from Magnolia fitted so perfectly to this.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Hier ben ik weer hihi met een kaartje deze keer.
Het is weer tijd om de kerstkaartenvoorraad aan te vullen, dus deze keer een kerstkaartje wat ik met jullie delen wil; tuurlijk met een katje hihi.
Bij Hanna & Friends loopt op het moment een nieuwe challenge met een schets en die vond ik uitdagend genoeg voor mezelf om te maken.
Ondanks dat ik deze Magnolia stempel pas in mijn bezit heb, is het toch een favoriet van mij. Als papier heb ik het Graphic 45 gebruikt (Christmas Emporium Collection). Ik heb weer gekliederd met witte verf op het hekje en de boom.
De papierranden zijn opnieuw met de hand geborduurd en het afdrukje is ingekleurd met aquamarkers.
Ik kijk ernaar uit jullie reacties te lezen.

Here I am again with a new post.
It's time to make some Christmas cards and over at Hanna & Friends there's a sketch challenge. Again this sketch is very challenging to me so I've made a Christmas Card with it. The Magnolia stamp I've used is from the latest collection, but it's my favourite at the moment. I've used Graphic 45 paper (Christmas Emporium Collection). Again I've coloured with white paint and I even managed to get some where I wanted (LOL), on the fence and on the tree.
Paperborders are handstitched and the image is coloured with aquamarkers.

HEART AND SOUL

Dank jullie wel voor jullie fijne reacties op mijn vorige projectjes, ik heb ze met veel plezier gelezen en ze geven me inspiratie voor volgende projectjes.
Dit keer wil ik geen kaartje met jullie delen, maar een mini-projectje met een Sassy girl.
Ik had deze kleine houten hartjes al een tijdje in huis maar vond geen tijd om ze te pimpen.
Net doordat het een wat kleiner project is vond ik het moeilijk ze op een leuke manier te pimpen.
Trouwens, ik zag onlangs bij Mandy and Jaimy ook superleuk gepimpte (grote) hartjes.
Ik ben ontzettend aagje naar (het lezen) van jullie reacties over dit projectje.

This time I want to share a project with you with another Sassy girl.
I have had this wooden heart(s) for some time now, but couldn't find time to pimp one untill now.
It was a hard job for me, because they are quite tiny.
I'd recently seen over at Mandy and Jaimy some cute pimped hearts too by the way.

MOMENTS

Moments staat op de tekst van het Tim Holtz knoopje en dat heb ik gelijk als titel voor het kaartje gebruikt. Ik had een idee in mijn hoofd van een kaartje en dit is het uiteindelijk geworden, ik vind het net een (zomer) avondtafereel. Ik ben weer kwistig met de witte verf aan het spelen geweest hihi.

Moments is the text that's on the Tim Holtz button and this is also the name I'm giving this card. I had an idea in my head and this card is the result from it, it's a sweet (summer) evening scene. As you can see on this card I've been playing again with my white paint.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Er is weer een nieuwe uitdagingsschets bij the Sugar Bowl and ohhhh....ze zijn pittig maar het is me weer gelukt hihi. Als extra bij de schets was het thema patchwork, daarom dit prachtige Melissa Francis papier gebruikt dat hier wat meer tot zijn recht komt. De rest van de kaart heb ik wat sobertjes gehouden. Ik heb bij deze kaart voor het eerst gespeeld met glimmer mist en ohhhh dat zal zeker niet de laatste keer zijn, wat is dat onwijs mooi om te gebruiken. Zoals de laatste tijd vaker het geval is, zijn de randen met de hand geborduurd en is het Simply Sassy afdrukje gekleurd met aquamarkers.

There's another Sketch Challenge over at the Sugar Bowl and though it took me some time to start, I succeeded in making a card to enter the challenge. The extra theme is patchwork and that's the reason why I used the fantastac paper from Melissa Frances. I've kept everything else in a bit of the same colour so that the beautifull paper pops out more, but not in a distrubbing way.
For the first time I've played with glimmer mist, which I used on the clock and boy o boy, what a fab thing to use. I will definately use this more often.
As almost usual, I've handstitched the sides of each paper (yes, even the small ones) and used aquamarkers to colour the Sassy girl.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Bij de club van Tiets loopt op het moment de novemberuitdaging en dit is mijn voorbeeldkaartje, gemaakt aan de hand van een schets van Tiets. Als extra uitdaging moest een tag op het kaartje verwerkt worden, ik heb ervoor gekozen het afdrukje op de tag zelf te verwerken.
Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van het papier van Simple Stories - Generations. Ook de tekst aan de rechterzijkant komt van dit paperpad.

Over at Tiets her club the new November Challenge has started and this is my contribution. You had to follow a sketch (made by Tiets) and the card must also included a tag. I decided to use the tag as image-background.
