Sugar Nellie

Hi everyone and a 

Happy Valentine's day to you.

It is Saturday, so I Marion may give you some 

inspiration on this special day.

With my creation I stayed in the Valentine's theme.

I made a heartshape card with one of the lovely

digis from Sugar Nellie.

I used a lovely image from the Furry Friends collection called Bang Bang.

(Furry Friends is my favo stamp collection from Funkykits at this moment :) )

Cards und More / Papernestdolls

Hi all, it is Marion today giving you some inspiration.

As Valentine is near, I thought I'd make a theme based

card for you as inspiration.

I used a Paper Nest Dolls image for my card.

Shaky A. Stamps DT

I am so happy you decided to visit my blog today.

Ik ben zo trots, want ik ben gevraagd om Shaky A. Stamps als DT lid te ondersteunen.

Dit is mijn eerste creatie met deze unieke en superleuke stempels.

When I first saw this image, I just knew this would be perfect for making a Valentine's card.

I coloured the image with my copics.

Toen ik deze stempel voor het eerst zag, wist ik gelijk dat ik hier een 

Valentijnskaartje mee wilde maken.

Ik heb het afdrukje ingekleurd met mijn copics.

I used Reprint papers and match them with my colouring.

The hearts are nested die-lighs from Whiff of Joy.

I did not want to add to much embelishments on this card, to make the image pop more.

Ik heb Reprint papier gebtuikt dat perfect paste bij het ingekleurde afdrukje.

De hartjes zijn nested die-light stansjes van Whiff of Joy.

Ik wilde niet al te veel frursels toevoegen op dit kaartje,

omdat ik vond dat het afdrukje zo benadeeld werd.

Kit and Clowder / Amy Doodle stamps

So nice of you to visit my blog today.

Today I want to show you a card made

with the lovely freebie I received at the Kit and Clowder Facebook Group.

It is a supercute digi from Amy Doodle.

Of course I am also entering the Kit and Clowder Facebook Challenge and

the Kit and Clowder February Challenge.

Hallo allemaal,

wat fijn dat jullie vandaag mijn blog bezoeken.

Vandaag wil ik een kaartje met jullie delen dat ik gemaakt heb

met de superleuke en tijdelijk gratis te verkrijgen digi bij de 

Kit and Clowder Facebook groep.

Het is een digi van Amy Doodle.

Natuurlijk doe ik met deze kaart mee aan de  Kit and Clowder Facebook Challenge

en aan de Kit and Clowder February Challenge.

I coloured up the digi with copics.

I added Wink of Stella on the red area of the heart, but it is always

difficult to get this on pic. In real life it really shines nicely.

I smudged the corrugated cardstock with Dutchdoobadoo paste to give

the cardstock a playfull look.

I kept it clean and simple in the end, it gives the image more

attention although I did try to add more.

I also have a more close up of the coloured image:

Ik heb de digi ingekleurd met mijn copics.

Tevens heb ik Wink of Stella gebruikt op het rode gedeelte van het hartje.

Het blijft echter moeilijk dit goed weer te geven op de foto.

In het echie glinstert het echt heel mooi.

Ik heb her en der Dutchdoobadoo pasta gebruikt op het golfkarton.

Dit geeft het een ierwat meer speelsere uitstraling vind ik.

Voor de rest heb ik het vrij simpel gehouden, omdat zo het

afdrukje het beste tot zijn recht komt.

Ik heb natuurlijk wel geprobeerd meer toe te voegen, maar zonder succes.

Whiff of Joy

Hi all, woohoo it is Friay and almost time for the weekend.

Friday also means it is color me happy day at the Whiff of Joy blog.

I am still in love with Henry Mouse stamps.

I think he is the cutest mouse ever

and I still love to colour him.

Today I want to share the following colouring with you:

I used my copics for colouring and these are the numbers I used for sweet Henry:

Furr: E44 - E43 - E42 - E41 - E40

Ears: R20 - E41 - E40

Henry's outfit: R29 - R27 - R24 - R22 - R59

Helmet: R29 - R27 - R24 - R22 - R59 

Helmet screen:  B02 - B01 - B00 - B000 - N7 - N5 - N3 - N1 - N0

I know, it is a lot of colours I use, but it makes blending so much easier.

I always start a section with putting down a layer with the lightest marker.

When I finished a section, I go over the section with the lightest marker

so it blends even better together.

For smaller parts like the nimbers on the helmet, I love to use Spica markers.

They also give a touch of glitter as well, so perfect for the numbers and

the small parts on Henry's outfit.

Cards und More - Tutorial Frantage

Hello everyone,

So nice of you to visit this blog today.

Today I, Marion , want to share a creation and

a tutorial with you.

Recently I get a lot of questions about how to use frantage.

So I decided to pick this one up and make a tutorial about it.

Supplies needed:

Heattool (there is another one in the shop available)

Versamark inkpad

Frantage (I used Scarlet red)
Joy! craft die Rosenecke
Prima Chalk

First I diecut a piece of paper using the Rosenecke die and leave

the diecut inside the die.

Whilst inside the die cover the blank spaces with Versamark ink.

Sometimes you need to hold the paper firmly on the back against the die

for a proper result.

Then take the diecut out of the die.

Cover the area with frantage.

Pick the die up and remove the frantage that was too much on the diecut or

frantage that was on non sticky side of the diecut.

It looks like this afterwards:

Then use your heattool to melt the frantage, here is a close up

after using the heat tool:

And this is how the diecut looks after heating:

For the leaves I use the Prima Marketing ink.

I first start with a lightgreen touch on the outside of the leave.

I used Moss Lawn for this.

Then I cover the rest of the leave and the green parts with Prima Marketings Old Road ink.

It looks greyish but we will fix that in a bit :)

As finishing touch I used the Moss Lawn again over the whole area:
